Parenting a child with an autism diagnosis comes with a mix of grace, grit, and growth — and that’s exactly what our April Together We Can (TWC) session was about. 💙
In this heartfelt session, parents opened up about the real-life challenges they face daily — and together, we shared strategies, encouragement, and prayers that reminded us we are never alone on this journey.
Some of the powerful questions parents asked during the session included:
- “How do I support my child when they get easily overwhelmed?”
- “How do I balance therapy goals with just letting my child be a child?”
- “What can I do when I feel burnt out as a parent?”
- “How do I help my child make and keep friends?”
Each question reminded us of why community matters. Because somewhere across the screen, another parent nodded — “Me too.”
The session was filled with vulnerability, laughter, and insight. We walked away reminded to take things one day at a time, celebrate small wins, and give ourselves grace.
💬 As one parent shared, “I’m learning to take it easy on myself — and that’s okay.”
👉 If you missed the live session, the full replay is now available on our YouTube channel. Watch, learn, and share with another parent who needs encouragement today.
📅 And don’t forget — our next session is on Sunday, June 8th. Come with your questions, your heart, and your hope.
Together, we really can. 💪🏽
